i'm really curious about this tele.
Actually im just starting 3D modelling at school this year. I just cant wait for my first lesson cause of you ; P. How long does it take to make an Ibanez or Les Paul? Just curious, hope i can do same awesome work someday

well i havent taken any offical courses, so i dont know how fast instructors teach. I will be finishing up my last two years of school to get an AA in 3d animation.

The ibanez was pretty quick, total sit down time a few days. The les paul is a little trickier

actually i realised that ibanez is more..cartoon. But its hard to belive that LP is made in 3D...its just so real.

You're making a sketch first and than making the 3D?

no sketch for any of them. The real life instrument helps a lot. And the Ibanez and some of the others are cartoonish renders for a movie that i am making. Its faster than realistic renders, but nicer than just plain materials.

for a movie? So your just placing the texture, and program is making the light reflex+shades etc. by itself?
